TBM x SONY Shop & Win Lucky Draw Contest Terms & Conditions

The TBM x SONY Shop & Win Lucky Draw (“Contest”) is organized by Tan Boon Ming Sdn. Bhd. (494355-D) (“TBM”). By participating in this contest, participants are deemed to have read and understood the terms and conditions of the Contest and agree to abide by them.

1. Contest Period
This Contest will commence from 18th December 2021 until 31st January 2022 for West Malaysia (“Contest Period”).

2. Eligibility
a. This Contest is open to all individuals residing in Malaysia and aged 18 years old and above. (“Participant”).

b. Permanent and contract employees, representatives, dealer, and agents of TBM and the immediate family members (i.e. spouse, children, parents, parent in law, brothers, sisters) thereof are not eligible to participate in this Contest. Participants for our Contest on social media must have a genuine account. 

c. Purchased customers under their registered companies or corporate purchasers are not eligible to participate in this Contest.

3. How to Participate
a. Register with Axtra Rewards (refer to https://bit.ly/AxtraRewards) at any TBM outlets (refer to https://bit.ly/TBMstores).

b. Purchase selected SONY TV stated below throughout the Contest Period.

c. Every purchase of the selected SONY TV is entitled to one (1) contest entry based on the purchase value of RM1,000,

eg: purchase SONY KD-55X80J with RM3,499 entitled to 3 entries, RM3,499/ RM1,000 = 3 entries

and is subject to limited available quantity (unit) and based on a first come first serve basis.

d. Fill up the form (refer to https://bit.ly/3dTxWe5) for verification and eligible purposes (based on the invoice number).

e. Like & Share the Facebook post (refer to https://bit.ly/3pXC8z6) and tag 3 friends and add the hashtag #TBMSONYawesome. (set to publicly)

g. Participants who complete all steps above will be considered qualified participants.

4. Contest
a. Contest ends on 31st January 2022 and the winner announcement will be posted on TBM's Facebook Fan Page (refer to https://www.facebook.com/tbm2u)

b. A total of 10 winners will be selected during the Lucky Draw.

c. Contest prizes included:

5. General Terms and Conditions

a. The Contest Prizes and Exclusive Gift for selected SONY TV ("Netflix Gift Card") is not redeemable for cash or in-kind, not exchangeable or transferable, and cannot be used in conjunction with other promotional offers.

b. Customers who purchase selected SONY TV are entitled to exclusive gifts, Netflix Gift Card (refer to the list below).

c. TBM reserve the right to change the Exclusive Gift with any other items as it deems fit.

d. All pictures and/or images of the SONY Products and Exclusive Gift found in any advertising and marketing materials for this Contest are for illustration purposes only and may be different from the actual product.

e. TBM reserves the sole and absolute right upon giving reasonable notice to alter, shorten, cancel, suspend or terminate this Contest or any part thereof through any mode in the absolute discretion of TBM.

f. For the avoidance of doubt, the alteration, shortening, or suspension of the Contest Period or the suspension or termination of this Contest by TBM shall not give rise to any claim or compensation by you or any other persons whatsoever against TBM for any losses or damages suffered or incurred as a direct or indirect result of the alteration, shortening, cancellation, suspension or termination.

g. TBM shall not be liable for any losses, damages, or costs incurred or suffered by any clients as a result of your participation in this Contest. Furthermore, TBM shall not be liable for any default of its obligation under this Contest due to any force majeure event which includes but not limited to the act of God, war, riot, lockout, industrial action, fire, flood, drought, storm, or any event beyond the reasonable control of TBM.

h. The terms and conditions of this Contest shall be governed by the laws of Malaysia and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

i. TBM may at its discretion disqualify/reject any Participant who does not comply with these terms and conditions stated herein and/or found or suspected of tampering with this Contest and/or its process or the operations of this Contest. Tampering shall include fraudulent activities involving any act of deceit and/or deception and/or cheating with regards to this Contest and/or TBM’s social media platforms.

j. Any such variation of any of the terms and conditions herein shall be binding on you and be deemed to be brought to your attention through any notice displayed at TBM’s website or TBM’s social media platforms.

k. By participating in this Contest, you agree and consent to allow your personal data to be collected, processed, and used by TBM in accordance with TBM’s Privacy Notice, which may be viewed on www.tbm.com/my, as may be revised or amended or supplemented from time to time (“TBM’s Privacy Notice”).
